Purple Martin pole

I almost didn’t order the pole because of the reviews saying it was cheap, that the parts didn’t go together well. I found the opposite experience, it is a heavy sturdy pole, the parts went together well. The only thing was with the Heath martin house, I was unable to tighten the bolts on the plastic mounting flange that held up each level of the bird house, to keep it from sliding down, we were able to rig up something to keep it from slipping, the pole was not a problem, it fit my bird house but we used a pvc pipe to cement into the ground to hold the pole instead of using the thin plastic sleeve provided. Good product, just put the house out, no birds yet.

Thank you for reviewing the Heath purple martin house pole. If you have any questions regarding the pole please call our Customer Service Team at 800-678-8183. They will be happy to assist you.

MP 15 4 pole

The design of this unit is poor. The last (4th) section will not slide into the 3rd. section. I sanded the pole to take off any rough spots but it still does not go into the section. Do not know how anyone would be able to raise and lower their martin house using this pole. You are supposed to check your houses at least once a week and with this setup it would be impossible to do.! Not pleased with this arrangement at all.
